The owners were lovely and shared lots of helpful advice for visiting Kyoto and nearby areas. They even came out early on the morning we left to help us get to our Uber, and we said goodbye hoping to meet again in Kyoto next spring. The apartment itself was brand new, on the ground floor, spacious, and exceptionally clean. The linens smelled wonderful and were spotless, and it had everything we needed and then some. Thanks again for everything!

I loved my stay here so much that this is easily my favorite place in Kyoto. The hostess was incredibly kind and flexible, and the room was fantastic. I’ll absolutely book here again next time I’m in the city.

Haruka and her husband made us feel really welcome. They were so friendly and shared loads of useful information about Kyoto. We’d happily recommend staying here. We’d booked the smaller room, but since the other one was available, they gave us the bigger one, so we had the bath and kitchen to ourselves. Everything was perfect 👌🏼 😊

During my two weeks in Japan, this warm, homey homestay beat every five-star hotel or big villa I stayed in. The hosts are wonderfully kind and just amazing people. I’ll definitely come visit again when I’m back in Kyoto!

I visited during Gion Festival, and the comfortable room was close to the city centre. The host let me check in early at 1pm and helped me get to the train station quickly when I checked out. She speaks fluent Mandarin and shared travel tips with me. I really enjoyed chatting with her and getting a feel for Japanese culture.
