Hotel Vista Premio Kyoto Nagomitei

The location is right in the heart of Kyoto, and the place was very clean and fairly spacious by Japan standards. The staff were so kind and helped us order restaurant meals. They even helped us buy shoes online and arrange delivery to the hotel with cash payment. They were lovely. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and I’ll come back next time I’m in Kyoto.

The buffet was wonderful, a great way to begin the day with a full stomach. It’s also in a quiet, pleasant area, while the markets are an easy walk away. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

We spent three nights here with family. The place seemed new and clean, and our room was larger than I expected, though its layout somehow made it feel smaller. Maybe that was just the room we got. The service was great, and the staff were extremely friendly. They’d also left more useful room items than I’ve seen at other hotels, including a phone charger, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was included and changed each day, but it could have been kept warmer more often. It’s about a five or six minute walk to the high street, with lots of malls and Nishikri market nearby.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the neighborhood is cozy and quiet. We had a room facing the street. Getting to a bus or metro takes 10-15 minutes on foot, which worked well for us. The twin room was roomy and well laid out, everything was clean, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. We arrived around 11 or 12 at noon hoping to leave our luggage and head out, but they offered an early check-in. Our bags from Tokyo were already waiting in the room. They really went above and beyond, and we had an amazing stay.
