Kei and Ritsuko were wonderful hosts, and we’re grateful they helped sort out the logistics when our luggage was delayed. The guesthouse had recently been bought and renovated, with a new set of thoughtfully designed furniture. It’s tucked off the main road, close to Fushimi Inari Station and Shrine, and the rooms are huge. The place felt very much like home, and it was easy to reach the sights in Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka. Having a parking space made it a great fit for a family driving around. We brought a rented Toyota Alphard and managed to park it there. We’d be happy to stay at this guesthouse again someday.
