The owner was incredibly friendly. This was the last place I stayed before leaving Japan, and it ended up being one of the most memorable. Great place to stay.

I’d never stayed in a Japanese-style home before, and the all-wood construction felt really unique since you don’t see that much in Taiwan. There are train stations and bus stops nearby, plus a FamilyMart right next door. A good choice if you’re comfortable traveling independently.

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. Mr. Shimada was very kind and took us out to see the maple leaves, guiding us for half a day.
