Kiori Collection Gokomachi

Nestled along the elegant Gokomachi-dori in the heart of Kyoto, KIORI Collection Gokomachi is a refined boutique hotel that embodies the highest expression of the KIORI brand. As part of the prestigious KIORI Collection series, this property offers a sophisticated and intimate stay designed for travellers who value privacy, understated luxury, and a deep connection to Kyoto’s cultural atmosphere. Opened in 2026, KIORI Collection Gokomachi features a carefully curated collection of approximately 21 rooms. The design concept draws inspiration from the idea of a private Kyoto residence, emphasising natural light, soft textures, and a seamless relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. Subtle Japanese garden elements and thoughtful spatial planning create a calm, residential feeling that allows guests to experience the city at a more leisurely pace. Each room is crafted with attention to detail, combining modern comfort with the quiet elegance of traditional Japanese aesthetics. Clean lines, natural materials, and carefully selected furnishings contribute to an atmosphere of refined simplicity. The overall design encourages rest and reflection, making the hotel an ideal retreat after a day of exploring Kyoto’s temples, historic streets, and cultural landmarks. One of the defining features of KIORI Collection Gokomachi is its sense of exclusivity and personalised hospitality. Guests can enjoy the use of a private lounge space, where thoughtful touches such as hand-drip coffee and carefully curated beverages enhance the experience. The service style is discreet and attentive, designed to support a high level of privacy while ensuring that every need is met with care.
