It felt like staying in a little Kyoto home rather than a hotel. Kiraku Kyoto Anekoji is tucked away on a quiet street, close to everything, and the place felt calm and private. The room was beautifully designed, clean, cozy, and had all we needed. Having a washer and dryer was especially helpful during our trip. Thank you for the warm experience!

A traditional house with modern bathrooms and a small kitchen. The courtyard and mini onsen were wonderful, and it was easy to find and get into the house. Everything was beautiful, clean, and nice. No complaints at all, and we’d love to stay again.

The house is so beautiful and really gives you that Kyoto feel. It’s in a quiet area, which is a nice break from somewhere like Tokyo, but there are lots of shops only 20 minutes away. Such a great area, very wonderful.

The breakfast was unusual and vegetarian, definitely worth trying. It was a relaxing stay in a very eclectic place, though it could use a little upkeep. Check-in was self-service and a bit confusing. Another group knocked on our door because they were having trouble finding their place.

A great place for families. It feels like a real neighborhood, with people living and working around you rather than hotel staff. The restaurants are good and have much more of a neighborhood feel. The location is perfect, close enough to tourist sites without being in a touristy spot.
