10/10
The bathroom stood out, especially the shower looking onto the little courtyard. They also left toiletry kits for everyone, coffee and tea in the kitchen, and a bottle of water for each of us in the fridge. The house seemed recently updated and has plenty of room by Japanese standards, with air conditioning in both rooms. From the street, surrounded by older shops, it looked a bit out of place, but stepping inside changed the feel right away. Highly recommend it for a stay in Kyoto.
