Kyo No Oozora Fuka

We cut our stay short by a day, which pretty much sums up how disappointing it was. The street and school noise came straight through the thin walls and plywood doors, making sleep impossible. On arrival there was a strong urine odor that hung around for three days, and the place was dirty, with dust, grime, and slugs near the bathroom. The washing machine left our clothes smelling bad, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping out even after staff tried to fix it. The agency denied the problems, didn’t apologize, and wouldn’t refund the night we didn’t use. This felt like a rental business without a soul, not an authentic Japanese home. I wouldn’t recommend it; book somewhere else. Sadly, the property's response is full of claims I believe are false and meant to hide what our stay was really like.

The washing machine was a big help, and there’s parking fairly close by. This traditional japanese house also has some modern touches and is well located. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Loved it, just the best.

The room was lovely, and staying there felt like being in my own private home. Check-in was a hassle, though, since I had to pick up the key somewhere separate from the hotel. I was confused and tried calling, but nobody answered. Then at checkout they told me to call a number, and no matter how many times I tried, nobody picked up. If they’re not going to answer, why ask me to call? Such a nuisance. Lol.
