I'd always wanted to stay in a traditional Kyoto townhouse, and this one lived up to what I hoped for. It's clean and tastefully decorated, and it's relaxing enough that I could imagine using it as a vacation home. Having a washer and dryer meant we didn't need to pack much. The comfort is different from what you get in a hotel. Gojo subway station is close, and Kyoto Station is only a short walk away. I'd love to stay again.
