Kyoto Hatsune Hotel

After a full day walking around Kyoto, we loved coming back to this quiet, peaceful house. It's in a convenient spot for exploring, and the place is spotless with lots of thoughtful little details. Kevin was such a warm, caring host. He checked that we had what we needed and shared great recommendations. His kindness made our stay special. We hope everything goes wonderfully for him! ❤️

The room was lovely and absolutely spotless, with plenty of room for luggage despite its compact layout. We had a good first experience at the nearby public bath, too. Kevin is a wonderful, generous host, and the canal-side setting is scenic, quiet, and convenient for transport. We'd like to return and try a western style room, hopefully for a softer bed and less going up and down. The layout is something to consider if you're older or have limited mobility.

Kevin made everything feel easy. He was genuinely lovely, kind, and helpful, and went out of his way whenever we needed assistance. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It's a little outside the very center, but the neighborhood is peaceful and pleasant. Hatsune Guesthouse is a great place to stay in Kyoto, I'd absolutely recommend it.

We felt at home here almost straight away. Kevin, the host, is one of the kindest people I've met, and he gave us lots of recommendations for things to do nearby. On our last day he even offered us a lift to the station. He loves Miffy too, which earns him extra points with us. We want to come back to Kyoto just so we can stay at his guesthouse again.
