We had a comfortable, safe trip to Kyoto during our two-night stay with our family and one-year-old daughter. There were no bugs or odd smells. Slippers, toothbrushes, and bath towels were supplied, though there were no pajamas. We washed the dishes and other things ourselves before using them, but otherwise had no complaints.
For two people, the price was very reasonable. Inside, everything was clean and tidy, with no strange smells, and Kinkaku-ji Temple and Arashiyama are only about a 15-minute drive away.
The detached house with a loft made for a comfortable stay. By bus, Kinkaku-ji Temple is about 20 minutes away, and Kawaramachi takes around 20 minutes by train.
We got more for the price than we expected for two people. The hotel was very clean and tidy, with spacious, well-equipped rooms. Kiyomizu-dera Temple is walkable, and there are several bus stops right outside.
