The descriptions were so confusing that I couldn’t tell if the place I arrived at was where I was meant to stay. I got painful blisters from sleeping in one of the beds. The house next door seemed abandoned and scary. The stairs felt very dangerous, and there’s no soundproofing in the walls, so you can hear creaking from one room to another.
2/10
There’s nowhere to park for picking up or dropping off guests or their belongings, and the parking lot is half a kilometer away and extremely hard to find. The location is terrible. I got no response when I tried contacting the guesthouse on WhatsApp, and the neighbors nearby were extremely unfriendly.
2/10
A letdown and a disappointment. There weren’t as many beds as indicated, there was no second bathroom as advertised, and the cleaning was very inadequate. The garden looked like it hadn’t been maintained for months.

I found some hair by the floor light in the second-floor bedroom. Makes me wonder if they clean it.
4/10
The neighborhood is quiet, and the parking space isn’t far away. Upstairs, a window looks out over some pretty houses and beautiful Japanese gardens. But the house doesn’t match the description. Most of the beds are thin futons rather than proper beds, and we had to stack four together to sleep. The supposed second bathroom is just a sink behind a blind in one of the bedrooms. Thank goodness there are two toilets. The sheets weren’t very clean, and the Japanese garden photo is heavily embellished. The area beside the house is a mess.
