The location couldn’t be better, just around the corner from the Nishiki food markets. Our room and stay were traditional, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The traditional breakfast was amazing, but order less than you think you’ll want because it’s a lot of food.

The rooms are roomy, and the public bath was spotless. The location is excellent too, and everyone was really nice. The look of the place and the bathrooms are what you'd expect for the price. It's a clean, pleasant hotel that does what it promises. It's no Ritz, but it doesn't charge Ritz prices either, so it's fine.

We had a lovely stay, and the customer service was excellent. They let us leave our bags early, and our room was clean and comfortable. Sleeping on the futons over tatami was great. The onsen is simple but really relaxing, with all the amenities provided. Breakfast was a wonderful Japanese meal and a must-try. It's conveniently close to public transit. I'd gladly stay again.

The staff were great, and everything was very clean. It's an easy walk to restaurants, bars, markets, temples, and subway stations. The hotel itself is Japanese style, with tatami mats and futon mattresses.
