The owner was so, so kind, and had left snacks in the fridge especially for us in the room we booked. Everything was organized perfectly. I loved staying here and plan to come back whenever I'm in Kyoto again.

There's a shower but no bathtub, though nearby public baths and hot springs mean that shouldn't be an issue. The owner was very friendly. It's a good choice if you want a stay without meals, with excellent access to Kyoto City, and it works especially well for traveling by car.

We rented the place as a group and had a great time. The room was clean, and we were told it was fine to make noise. We were also happy that one car could be parked. The convenience store and supermarket are a bit of a walk, but that's no trouble if you have a car.

I was comfortable throughout my two-night stay. The facilities and service were excellent, and I'd like to stay here again on another visit to Kyoto.
