The location made it easy to walk to Nishiki Market and the shopping in Kyoto's CBD, with plenty of coffee shops nearby. The hairdresser a couple of doors down was excellent too. Our room was modern, clean, and spacious. With three of us, having the toilet and shower in separate rooms came in handy. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. I'd definitely recommend the place if you want to be central to everything you need.

The room was roomy and spotless, with a big shower booth, a separate bathroom that was kept up well, and a clean, spacious balcony. There’s a mini kitchen too. The hotel is tucked somewhere quiet and relaxing, even though plenty of good shops are nearby. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the free bread and juice came in especially handy while I was writing a work report. I really can’t think of anything but good things about this hotel.

It has a calm feel, without the busy atmosphere of a big hostel. The rooms are new and comfortable, and each one feels more like a rented studio apartment than a hotel. There’s a mini kitchen, and some rooms have a little Japanese-style room within the bedroom, which works well for a larger group. Shinkyogoku Street, Nishiki Market, and lots of restaurants are all close enough to walk to.
