The tatami in our room seemed a little old and gave off a slight musty smell, which was the only small issue for us. The house itself is a beautiful old Japanese home in a peaceful residential neighborhood. It’s very well maintained, the hosts are friendly, and we’d still gladly return.

We were sad we couldn’t stay another night. It was our first time sleeping on a futon, and it was really comfortable. The property has a traditional feel, and breakfast was delicious. Bikes are very cheap to rent, only 500¥ for one day. We’d definitely recommend the place to friends and family and would love to stay again.

The atmosphere at Kingyoya has the traditional ryokan feel, which is hard to beat. The staff were incredibly nice. Our room was small but tidy, and getting to the bathroom was a bit of a hassle. The bathrooms are quite small too. Still, it’s a great place for a few nights.

We had everything we needed in this lovely traditional house. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We were thrilled with the accommodation and definitely want to come back.

A lovely ryokan where you can feel Japan’s traditions, with friendly owners and a beautiful garden inside. You’re allowed to smoke your favorite stuff in the little garden by the entrance, a nice tip. Thank you very much
