We were seven in the family. The location worked well, with plenty of restaurants and convenient transport, and the host let us check in early. The place was clean. But all the beds were hard and uncomfortable, and everyone had to sleep in one room, with no privacy at all. The kitchen was very cramped. The stairs up to the sleeping area were extremely steep and felt dangerous, so I wouldn’t consider this suitable for children or older people. The toilets are downstairs, which felt especially unsafe at night. Communication with the host before we arrived was poor. It was an unpleasant stay.

There’s a huge AEON supermarket nearby for food shopping, along with two onsen and lots of really nice little restaurants. The house is very well equipped and sits in a great spot near Nishioji Station. It’s a bit small, but with some organizing, nine people can manage.

The owner got in touch that day to offer us an early check-in, though we ended up arriving later than planned. After explaining everything at the start, the owner left us to relax at our own pace. The interior was nice, and I’d like to stay here again.
