Tiny, but it has everything you need. Super clean and tidy, and well connected. The host left clear, easy instructions. Excellent place, the best!

The best thing here is the location. There are lots of restaurants with a nice atmosphere around the apartment, and with just a little walk you can reach Daimaru department store, Shinkyogoku, and Nishiki Market. Buses to sightseeing spots run frequently too. I got into a nice routine: make coffee in the room in the morning, take it to the Kamo River and drink it while looking at the water, then head back. There were hardly any people around that early, so it felt like a real luxury. The room has a fridge, IH stove, frying pan, pot, microwave, electric kettle, dishes, and cups. There's also a cheap fresh market very nearby, so cooking for yourself can help save money. Udon and soup stock are inexpensive at Kyoto supermarkets, so give making them a try. It was fun to see the room full of Doraemon. Maybe foreign visitors enjoy that. The only letdown was the combined toilet and unit bath. I might have preferred a separate shower room. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bath towels, and face towels are provided. There's a washing machine and detergent, so it's suitable for longer stays. With two beds, couples or friends could have a good time here, and the wifi worked without any trouble.

The surroundings are simple, but the facilities offer a lot of functions.
