The steep staircase and low beams are worth keeping in mind, especially if anyone is over 6ft. Four adults could manage the space, but it felt tight; two adults would fit really well. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was great, and everything was clean and well presented. The kitchen is basic but works. We cooked once and did fine, though it isn't set up for a big feast. It's a fantastic self-catering place about a 10-minute walk from the city. Highly recommended.

We had three adults and a toddler, and spent much of our time stopping the little one from climbing the very steep stairs, so I wouldn't recommend it with a toddler. For a couple, or maybe two couples, it would be lovely. The location was fantastic, and though it was fairly close to the main drag, the nights were still pretty quiet. The bathroom's heated tiles were a great addition. We'd come back without the kids.
