Musubi Hotel Kyoto Shijo-Omiya

The location was good, the price reasonable, and there was a kitchen. But most rooms get little sunlight, which was fine for sleeping and very depressing for spending the day indoors. Check-in and check-out times are very strict, and there's no place to leave luggage, though services are close by. The photo of my room showed a window with a view. Otherwise, I would have picked a different hotel. For one night, it was OK.

Compact and very nice room, with an easy check-in. There weren't any services offered, but the location beside a train station was very convenient.

The room was the biggest we've had in this price range, and it was clean, quiet, and cozy. Getting to the major bus stop and train was easy, and the door around it was perfect. There were restaurants open early and late, which solved the food-hours problem we've had near other hotels. I'll recommend it to our friends.

Everything was spot on, from the rooms and check-in and check-out to the location. We absolutely loved this hotel, found it well worth the price, and hope to return soon. Especially good for couples, and super comfortable!
