The thin walls meant we heard a lot, including big English-speaking groups leaving late at night and a Chinese-speaking family yelling at their kids early in the morning. We didn't get the rest we needed. The room also felt neglected: the walls and even the artwork were dusty, some towels and blankets were stained, and there was hair in the bathroom when we checked in. Between the noise and cleanliness problems, it wasn't a comfortable stay. I wouldn't return.

A peaceful, nice place with lots of freebies, and the hot water was good 😊, unlike our worst stay in osaka 😩. My family and I spent Christmas Eve at this randor residences and had a calm, restful day and night 😊.

The automatic check-in with no human interaction isn't really my thing, but I could put up with it because the room was so nice. It was amazing, very clean, with comfy beds and a nice bathroom and kitchen. The location was quiet, near a supermarket and nijo castle. It's far from the metro, though close to bus lines.

The bathroom was a highlight, and the hotel has a pleasant, quiet feel. Our room was spacious, though we had a hard time getting the AC to work. It’s also conveniently close to Nijo Castle.

We found the rooms clean when we arrived, and the bathroom came with plenty of free amenities. The water pressure was impressively strong. The hotel sits between Nijojo castle and a good number of restaurants and convenience and grocery stores. The town is small and peaceful, which made it a nice place to stay in Kyoto.
