Rc Hotel Kyoto Yasaka

We’re already missing this place. The building is incredible, on a lovely street, and there’s a cute coffee spot right downstairs. The area has plenty to see, and our room was gorgeous and really spacious. The staff were so kind and spoke great English. I’d highly recommend it!

The rooftop views were the best, and hotel guests can go up for free. The layout gave us that Japanese feel, with the bed set low on the floor, and we absolutely loved it. During the day you’re right in the middle of everything, with the main area all within walking distance. Nearby hotels cost more and have the same view, if not less. This feels like a hidden gem. Once more people find it, the price will definitely go up!🤣

The location made it easy to get around, while the hotel itself was quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Our room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable, and housekeeping stayed excellent throughout. ANNY and TAKA were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and both the on-site restaurant and breakfast had a great range of high-quality choices. I appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing place.

It’s a quiet hotel despite being right in the center, and you can get lovely views of the area from the roof. You’ll need to take the stairs up, though, as there’s no elevator. The building seems to have been an old apartment block, and the rooms are cleverly arranged but basic. I’m tall, so I had to duck under the low doors. The bed was decent, and the bathroom and shower were pretty good. There’s a sink in the sparsely decorated living area, which only had a loveseat. Breakfast was one piece of toast with your choice of topping, mostly jam or marmalade, plus a single cup of coffee. I’ve never stayed somewhere so stingy with coffee. First time for everything.
