10/10
We had a great three-night stay. The room was beautiful and the restaurant lovely, and frequent buses made getting around easy. The only thing I'd complain about is that the insect nets weren't in great shape, so leaving the windows open wasn't very appealing. 5/5, I'd stay here again!

I loved getting to experience this place. It felt peaceful and special, and the service was excellent. Everyone treated us with so much kindness and respect. I’d recommend it completely.

The staff were a big help when they got in touch with another hotel where I’d left my things. The traditional rooms were lovely, and both the Japanese breakfast and dinner were amazing.

The meals were great, and Kinkaku-ji is close enough to reach on foot. The ryokan itself is simple and affordable. It’s a little tucked away, which also makes it quiet.

The room was really big, and the service was great. The location wasn’t the best since it’s far away, and I expected more from the food. One tip, grab a coffee at Parking Cafe ReUnion right next to where you sleep. It’s a hidden gem.
