The neighborhood was quiet, and the heater worked well. I also appreciated the big shower and bathtub, the wonderful hot water, and the elevator, which handled our large luggage nicely. The beds felt a bit stiff, and there were stains on the towels. I was also concerned about the keychains shown in the picture. Please don't put the name, address, and room number on a key. That's a really unsafe idea. We took it off for the whole stay in case we lost the key, and it was too big to carry around anyway.

The four-bunk room was a good size for our family of four, including our two older teens. It was close to everything, with a laundry machine and strong air conditioning. We felt at ease and safe in the neighborhood, and it was convenient to walk to lots of places. The main problem was check-in. It was at another location, and I spent over 1.5 hours lost around Kyoto station trying to find the office. I'm sure that was my fault. The office staff were helpful, but it would've been nice to have someone at the apartment hotel in case anything came up, even if they aren't required to be there. I'd recommend this unit and would come back on another visit to Kyoto.

They let us check in early since the room was ready, and the host was super helpful and quick to respond. I'd definitely come back if I visit Kyoto again!

Our family bunk room had plenty of space for three adults and one teen, including a seating area big enough for all of us. The bunks made a cozy little fort for everyone to retreat to after a day of sightseeing. The beds and couch were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The small kitchen had a microwave, kettle, fridge, and hotplate, with utensils and dishes provided. There was also a little washer and a drying rack for light clothes. Shopping, restaurants, and several convenience stores were an easy walk away. We appreciated being able to store luggage before and after our stay, and the free shuttle from the check-in desk near Kyoto station.
