Rinn Sanjo Ohashi East

There was even a little balcony-like area, and the room felt bigger than rooms at other places I've stayed. It's also near an underground station. The facilities were great, and the staff were attentive and helpful.

I was really happy with the room setup. It had a mini pantry and basic kitchen equipment that came in handy, plus there's self-service laundry and somewhere to store luggage. The place is in a quiet, residential-feeling neighborhood, but close to the main road and an easy walk from the subway. My only gripe was that they don't clean daily.

We had a clean, welcoming room with a balcony, and the location was excellent. The bed and sofa bed weren't as comfortable as we'd hoped. Resi stay has thought of a lot: the check-in office is just outside Kyoto station, and there's a shuttle to take you to the accommodation. The staff were friendly and knew their stuff. There's coin laundry, luggage storage if you want to explore after checkout, and even bikes to rent.

For the price, you get a lot, including a sofa bed that's noticeably larger than the usual hotel ones. The room has an electric hob, kettle, pot, cooking and eating utensils, and even a hair straightener. There's coin laundry downstairs. Just be aware there isn't a reception at the property. You can check in at the staffed desk near Kyoto Station or call when you arrive. They'll confirm by email and send the gate and room codes.
