Hotel Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa

The staff were so kind and helpful when my wife had a medical emergency on our first night. That meant a lot to us. The room was comfortable, had a small kitchen, and the price was very reasonable. The hotel is in a great spot next to the Imperial Palace and a lovely public park. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ll stay here every time I come back to Kyoto.

After spending the day in Gion, I really appreciated being a little away from the busy part of town. The complimentary gifts and cosmetics were better than any I’d had at a hotel before, and the staff were incredibly friendly and made sure I had what I needed. That hot tub felt amazing after a day on my feet. I’ve never had a hotel exceed my expectations in so many ways.

The view and room were outstanding, and the staff were attentive and so helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Kyoto again, and I’ll recommend it to my friends visiting the city.

Each morning, walking along the riverbank was such a lovely start to the day. The train station is just five minutes away across the river, and there are lots of small restaurants nearby. Our room was fresh and clean, with a view of the river, and housekeeping left new local treats for us to try every morning. The staff were very helpful.
