Higashiyama Chitaru in Kanazawa

A really great Airbnb!

Really good coffee and cake.

We loved being able to spend time together as a family of four in this cozy, comfortable place. During our two nights we made good use of the kitchen, dining table, washing machine, and bathtub. The bath held its temperature steadily, and after a cold day in the snow it was lovely to fill it at night and soak several times. The location worked well too: it's at a triangular junction, with a surface parking lot across the road, and the host has a long-term parking space available for guests. Higashi Chaya Street is a five-minute walk away. Getting in and out was straightforward. Check-in and check-out are self-service, with advance guest registration and a QR scan at the door to finish check-in and get the key automatically. English or Chinese screenshots are available. The host replied quickly and spoke English easily, so messages were simple. I also enjoyed looking at the old photos on the living room wall, which showed the renovation before it was done. They were interesting and made the care that went into the work clear.

So spacious and lovely, it was the best!
