Hinodeya

I stayed in a single room for a short business trip to Kanazawa. The location was perfect, just a 1-2 minute walk from the station, and you can even see the building from in front of it. The room was basic but clean, with all the necessities. Since I needed to arrive late, I called ahead. The owner, a woman, said she’d leave my key at the front desk because it closes after 9 PM. I arrived at 22:30 to a room that had already been warmed up. In the morning I went down to ask if I could order breakfast. Even though it was a last-minute request, the owner said she’d prepare something. It cost me 880 JPY, and everything was delicious and nutritious. We had a great conversation, too. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, and I’ll come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Kanazawa.
