Shimpei was so caring and attentive to details. He helped us feel at home, understand the house and neighborhood, and get ready to explore Kyoto. The house had lots of historic character and plenty of room for our family of four. I especially enjoyed morning coffee in the tea room. The kitchen was well equipped, and the Smart TV was a bonus for the kids after a long day. The station is just a few minutes away, with a grocery store around the corner. I also loved that Shimpei’s home is in a quiet neighborhood, away from Kyoto’s busier areas.

Shimpei made our trip easier with a quick, helpful response and lots of useful information about nearby restaurants and getting around Kyoto. We had a wonderful stay. The space was very roomy and worked well for our group of 4-6 people. It was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. We really appreciated his hospitality and would happily stay again.

Shimpei went above and beyond when we accidentally left a watch on a bus. He helped us locate it, which made a stressful situation much easier. He was also friendly and responsive, and check-in and check-out were simple. The place was clean, comfortable, and prepared with thoughtful touches like clear instructions and well-stocked amenities. It was exactly as described, and the location made it easy to reach transport, restaurants, and nearby attractions. We had a great stay and would gladly recommend Shimpei or stay here again.
