The bathroom shower is amazing, and it also works as a dryer for clothes. Just be aware the green exit sign bothered me while I was trying to sleep, so you might want to bring a sleep mask. The futon is thin on a tatami mat, which may not suit you if you prefer a soft bed. Some parts of the place are small, though that's to be expected. The stairway is narrow, so it could be a tight squeeze for a wider person. Still, it's a very nice place.

You get a whole private house, with a full kitchen and washing machine. The train station is a seven-minute walk away, and there's a conference store three minutes from the house. A great private stay.

The place is clean and roomy, and the service is excellent. Staff are helpful and speak English very well. There are bicycles right in front of the house. For a stay of more than a day with family or friends, this was better than a five-star hotel.

We were four, and the tiny dining area made sitting at the table or moving around a challenge. There was also barely any closet space for everyone's clothes. The upstairs sleeping area has futons, which I found comfortable, but getting up there means taking a fairly steep staircase. The two-story apartment is Japanese-style and close to the station, which made getting around easy. Cleanliness was excellent, and the welcome was quick and thorough. They also included a free pickup between the station and the apartment. The thin wall shared with the apartment next door means you have to hope your neighbors are quiet and considerate. We had a great experience.
