The hosts were so kind, and the house has a lovely traditional feel, with tatame floors and paper sliding doors. It felt like stepping back in time. It's a little small if you're used to bigger places, but all the details made up for that. I found it quiet and really comfortable, a great spot in Kyoto that fits the city's beautiful, traditional atmosphere.

Seeing my name on the blackboard outside was such a sweet welcome. Everything was clean and cozy, the people were friendly, and the place felt very Totoro 😆. I met some lovely guests and heard great stories. Thanks for such an unforgettable time 💗

For such a low price, I got a lovely host and a really clean bed. This is one of Kyoto's loveliest guesthouses, I'm sure. I'd definitely recommend it to travelers.

A cozy little place in a good spot, with a convenience store just meters away. The hosts were friendly, and I especially liked seeing English labels all around :-)
