The room was quiet, non-smoking, and clean, with comfortable bedsheets and no mould in the room or bathroom. I also liked being able to open the window for fresh air, adjust the temperature, and use the air purifier and humidifier. The TV lets you sign in to Prime, Netflix and other services, or cast to it. The shower products and hand wash smelled really good. For one person, the double room had good space. The bathroom was roomy enough to move between the sink and shower without bumping into things. The wide desk worked well for makeup, food, and charging. There were two ports on it, one taken by the kettle, plus two more nearby, and an alarm clock. The room has a large mirror and table, but the warm lighting is too dim for makeup. The bathroom is a little brighter, though there’s nowhere to put a makeup bag. You can pick up a toothbrush, bath scrub towel, coffee, tea, stirrer, and slippers on the first floor. One minor thing, the table looks a bit worn, and there are small luggage scuffs on parts of the cream-colored wall. The luggage area may be tight. I sent my large bag to Osaka and brought a small one; cabin-size should be fine, but a bigger suitcase could be a problem unless you book a larger room. The pillow material is meant to be moulded to your shape to help you sleep, but I found it a little hard. I’d requested an extra pillow with the booking and didn’t get one. I booked through Expedia and had to pay a tourist tax at the hotel for each night. It wasn’t much, but it’s something to keep in mind.
