We checked in at 6 pm and left at 6 am the next morning, as soon as we could. The place was deeply disappointing and had no character. Dark wallpaper and carpets, plus a stuffy smell, made the room feel gloomy. It was tiny and cramped, and the bed was the worst part. I could feel the springs and barely slept. My skin started itching as soon as it touched the blanket. The room also smelled bad and seemed poorly cleaned. It wasn’t soundproof either, so footsteps and voices kept us awake all night. The location was quiet, since it’s in a residential area, and the reception staff were nice enough and spoke English. But it was far from the bus stops and train station. When we came out of the lift on the second floor, there was a cigarette smell, which was strange for a non-smoking facility, and uncovered boxes and clutter were dumped around. The interior design was poor.

We were told the website had parking, but the spaces were blocked off and we weren’t allowed to use them. The hallways were cramped with things being stored there, and the rooms were tiny, dirty and had beds that sagged and weren’t comfortable. It’s in a neighborhood, with quite a walk to food or convenience stores. For that price, the accommodation should be better.

It’s a very quiet area, and the place was really affordable. I picked it because it was right in the middle of the tourist spots. The closest train and bus station is a seven-minute walk.

The booking said parking was available, but when I checked in, staff told me there wasn’t any and that I’d have to find my own.

It was a very good hotel for the budget price. Just be aware that although the website mentions parking, there are only two guest parking spaces.
