The kitchen was beautifully equipped, and I liked the coffee machine with its many free condiments. The hotel smelled great, and the bathroom layout kept each section separate, which helped avoid smells. The beds had plenty of room, the staff were nice and understanding, and having a kitchen included was a fantastic bonus. There was a car park next door and a Fresco shop nearby, which made the location convenient. I'd probably come back to get more of the experience.
10/10
The room was cozy and clean, and the staff were so welcoming and kind. They made everything easy for us. We had a great stay.

The room was small but laid out well. Staff at the front desk were around during most usual hours and very helpful. There's a lounge with tables and a toaster, along with the kitchenette in the room. I chose it hoping to walk to Kyoto rail station, but would suggest staying nearer a subway or train station. One is not far away.
8/10
The room was very good, and there's laundry on site. Staff were great, with some stores nearby. It's not far from the main street, though there's not much to do in the immediate area. Kyoto station isn't too far away.
10/10
It's a cozy, practical place, and I'd still recommend it for a Kyoto stay. The room was bigger than in most hotels and everything inside worked well, so we barely wanted to leave. Registration was a little awkward because of the operating hours, and having cleaning only every few days was inconvenient for us. I had booked seven nights and asked almost a month ahead to cancel the last one, but they wouldn't allow it even though Trip.com showed free cancellation. Check that policy carefully before booking.
