Stitch Hotel Kyoto

I split my stay between two rooms, and both were spacious, beautifully designed, and really quiet. The details stood out, and the rooms felt luxurious while still being comfortable. The showers were heavenly, almost spa-like, and everything was spotless and well maintained. The front desk staff were among the kindest and most helpful people we've met while traveling. The location made it easy to explore Kyoto. I loved this stay so much, it may be one of my favorite hotels in the world. I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.

The shower never got hot enough, even when we turned it all the way up. I wasn't sure whether I should have told the front desk. The other four hotels on this trip all had hot water, so I'd stay here again if this gets resolved. The rest of the experience was great. Staff were welcoming and gave excellent service, the room was clean and had all the amenities, and the location was very convenient.

The room felt like home, with a large dining table, a very comfortable sofa, and beds we all slept well in. The room was a great size for our family of four. Staff were fantastic and helped us out several times. The area is great for dining, and having the train station nearby made exploring easy. FamilyMart right next door was handy for picking up what we needed. We're already planning another trip back to the Hotel.

Check-in was smooth, and the front desk team were friendly and very helpful. They arranged to forward our luggage to Osaka, and there was free coffee in the foyer. The whole place was very clean and looked recently renovated. Our family room was huge, with large beds and a well-equipped kitchenette. It even had a washer and dryer. The hotel is beside Gion and the riverside, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, plus train station entrances and bus stops.
