The place looks nice, but the stay didn't live up to its appearance. There was a lot of humidity in the room and a strong damp smell, even with the dehumidifiers running. They provided coffee capsules and water on the first day, but the next day we only got fresh towels. The staff didn't speak English, so communicating was difficult. For the price, I'd call it average to poor.

The neighborhood was calm, which I really liked, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. A metro station made it easy to get around, and many activities were within a 10-minute walk. The hotel itself was spotless and very quiet, so I could properly relax. Staff were extremely friendly and available whenever I needed something. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern, well-equipped bathroom. Everything was accessible on site, which made the stay convenient. I highly recommend it for a pleasant, worry-free visit.

The staff were kind and welcoming, especially the older gentleman who checked me in. It was good value for the price, and the location was convenient for public transportation and Nishiki Market.

For the price, it's a great deal, with large rooms by Japanese standards. The bath area is fully Japanese style, with the bath, toilet, and sink all separate. You're just a short walk from Kyoto's main shopping area and right off Sanjo, a major shopping street. Karasuma-Oiks station is two blocks away, with two subway lines to get you around. I'd stay here again.

The room is fine for the price, but checkout at 10am is super early. The staff are all helpful and friendly, and they're the best part of the place.
