Kyo-Machiya YululY

What I loved most was the host, who was incredible. The home itself was a favorite part of our Kyoto trip too, a peaceful place in a traditional Japanese style with modern amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. Everything matched the description. We could easily walk to the Imperial Palace and a metro station. This is definitely where you want to stay!

YululY's place made for a great holiday. We had lots of luggage and two young children, so the Kyoto Station pickup and drop-off were a huge help. The house was authentic, clean, and had everything we needed. In winter, the large hot tub was especially relaxing. There are four bikes, two with child seats, and we rode nearly everywhere. I'd recommend cycling around, since you can stop wherever you like and explore. Local supermarkets and a Family Mart are nearby, which was convenient. YululY's guidebook and map have lots of suggestions for places in the area, all close by. Thanks so much!

The host was lovely and kind, and knew the local tourist spots well. The house has a cozy, spacious Japanese design, a bathroom overlooking the garden, and a nice kitchen. You can try the four bicycles for free, and it's a five-minute walk to the subway or a convenience store. A great house in Kyoto, highly recommend it to friends and family. 💝👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had such a welcoming stay at YululY's guest house. YululY greeted us at the door with a warm smile and open arms, and it felt like the perfect place for a family with kids.
