The inn's exterior looks impressive, and rooms in the main building have blankets, though the annex rooms don't. That's about all I can say in its favor. This was a shocking stay in the worst way. At 6600 yen for a room without meals, it's far too expensive. Even half that would be too much. There's a Super Hotel nearby that's much better. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and was dim, and the bathroom shower didn't work. Cleaning supplies and everyday items were left scattered through the hallways and lobby. Getting here from the station is inconvenient. It seems to allow pets, but a dog barked loudly in the middle of the night, and the sound carried even to distant rooms. The walls and doors are thin, so they should at least put dogs on a separate floor. No one warned me about the dog or the smoke beforehand. I asked to move because I couldn't sleep with the barking and the smoke. They sent me to a room in the annex, where the cigarette smell was even stronger. Neither the main building nor the annex worked for me. Then, before checkout time, the cleaning lady banged on my door twice, with some time between, trying to wake me and get me to leave. I asked if it was checkout time, and she said there was still time and it was fine. Then she shouldn't have woken me.
