Comfort Inn Zentsuji Inter

I came for breakfast after seeing the hotel website list it at ¥1,100, but the choice was very limited. There were no bread rolls, only sliced bread, and the salad was just macaroni and potato salad, without any raw vegetables, despite the description saying it had several kinds and changed daily. Dessert was "liver waffles," canned pineapple, and yogurt, so there wasn't much to praise. The smoothie was meant to have crushed ice like sorbet, but it had melted into mixed juice. Keeping the ice in a freezer like food courts use might help it stay smoothie-like. The waffles, udon, and smoothies seemed to take up a lot of room in the breakfast area, which otherwise didn't look much different from before, and the number of side dishes was much lower. Nobody was making waffles, so they could have had guests heat them in a toaster and used that space for at least three or four more side dishes. The daily curry wasn't bad, but having multigrain rice with it was disappointing. I wish there had been white rice. I knew the place from when it was Chisun Inn, when the buffet was ¥800. I arrived at 6:30 AM on November 29, 2025. PayPay was accepted this time, unlike at Chisun, and breakfast cost ¥990. It's a nearby hotel for me, so I won't be staying there.

The room had an extension cord, which came in handy since the outlet was far from the bed. The hotel keeps things simple with just the basics, and I found it comfortable. The bathtub was a decent size and nice to use. One downside: the toilet paper is "very strong," so it may be uncomfortable for people with sensitive stomachs.

I got to Kagawa earlier than planned, after 10:30 at night, and was considering an internet cafe. I wanted a proper long bath and a full night's sleep instead, so I looked for a hotel and found this one near the interchange. The room was non-smoking and very clean, as was the roomy bath, and I slept right through until morning. Glad I chose it. I'd stay here again on another trip to Kagawa.

The room is small, but there's a supermarket right next door with plenty of ready meals and groceries. Outside breakfast hours, you can bring what you bought into the breakfast area and eat there, and they lent us chopsticks and spoons too. For a family with kids in elementary school or younger who mainly wants a low price, I don't think there's a better option nearby. The double bed is 150 cm wide, more than enough for two. We paid ¥27,000 for two nights at the end of the year for two adults and one elementary school child, with breakfast included, which is remarkable. It's a shame there's no salad at breakfast, though it was nice to have Sanuki udon.
