Dormy Inn Express Matsue

We ended up booking at the last minute after the typhoon changed our plans, and everything turned out much better than expected. The location is handy, just a 2-3 minute walk from the station, with good restaurants nearby and a Seven Eleven across the road for microwave meals. The rooms feel new, and there’s a microwave on every floor. The Japanese dishes at breakfast were especially good, though there were Western choices too. Free laundry on the second and tenth floors was a real bonus. We only paid 100 yen for 20 minutes in the dryer, which got all our clothes dry. The staff were super nice. Thanks for everything.

The rooms were extremely clean, and the staff were really friendly. It’s a beautiful, convenient spot near Matsue station, with bus stops close by for getting around. I’d recommend having breakfast here, since the town can be pretty quiet in the mornings.

The rooms are tidy, clean, and laid out well, and the staff were efficient and helpful. Service is high quality, and the hotel is conveniently close to the train station. There are a couple of nice extras: skip room cleaning for a day and you get a free bowl of noodles, plus welcome coffee and free night noodles from 9 to 11pm.

The room faces a brick wall and is *very* compact, but I was still surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. It’s a clean, modern business hotel that’s cheap and centrally located, and they put out tasty free noodles every night.
