Guests can take the free bus for a walk around the hot spring town. Staying at the inn also gives you access to the large mixed outdoor bath at the sister hotel, Chorakuen, for 500 yen for adults and 250 yen for children aged 0-12. The plans and rooms are varied, with options for solo guests, families, or groups, and you can enjoy the beautiful-skin water of Tamatsukuri Onsen along with the spectacular sunset over Lake Shinji.

Service was good, though communicating in English might take a little time. The Western-style dinner was extremely tasty, and the view of Lake from our hotel room was stunning.

The dog cafe and roof top are a big plus. The facility and rooms are aged, but the customer service makes up for the shortcomings. Staff members were very warm and kind, and paid close attention to us.

The room was spacious and very quiet, and both breakfast and dinner were very nice. The shuttle bus to and from the train station was very convenient for us as train travelers.
