I was really grateful for how the staff helped when I came down with a bad cold and needed to extend my stay. They sent someone to speak with me and moved me to a private room for free, which I couldn't have afforded to pay for. I felt bad being sick around the other dorm guests, so having room to recover without worrying meant a lot. The Japanese style breakfast was great, with some variety each morning. They change the sheets and towels daily, even in the dorms. You also get loungewear and your own locker. It's an affordable hotel close to the station, and I thought it was excellent value. I'd stay again if I return to Matsue.

Right beside the train station, so the location is excellent. The place was spotless, the staff were lovely, and there are lots of free amenities to pick from. Facilities were very good overall. The mattress is on the thin side and felt fairly hard, and the capsules have almost no soundproofing. Still, I had a very good experience and would recommend it.
6/10
The main catch is the usual capsule hotel risk: noisy neighbors are possible. They offer free earplugs, but I'd only recommend staying here if you're a confident sleeper. It's especially appealing when there aren't many other guests around. The price is low, the staff are nice, and the rooms are very clean with plenty of amenities. Each capsule is well separated from the others, and the ladders to the upper capsules felt safe and comfortable to climb. Unlike many dorms and capsule hotels in Japan, they make the bed for you. The all-you-can-eat breakfast is good and reasonably priced.

It's really nice for a capsule hotel, but the sleeping area gets too warm at night. If heat bothers you, I'd choose a single room instead.
10/10
Probably one of the nicer capsule hotels I've stayed in.
