I only wish I could've stayed longer. The staff are super friendly, and the lounge has all sorts of instruments, games, and places to sit. There’s a kitchen and a book with suggestions for nearby spots, plus some bikes you can borrow for free. If I visit matsumoto again, I'll stay here.

Takeru was awesome. He greeted us, explained everything clearly, and when someone in our group forgot a passport, he contacted us over Whatsapp and talked us through it. He even offered to send it to our next accommodation. I'd give the service 6 stars if I could. We had a great stay in a private family room. The hostel has a nice kitchen, clean showers, plenty of local recommendations, and four bikes guests can use around town. Highly recommend!

I extended my stay to six nights because this place felt so warm and welcoming. It’s clean and quiet, and the common area makes it easy to meet people and hang out while still keeping a calm, laid-back feel. It’s rare to find a space where people from all over the world can sleep and still feel at home together. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place!

Everything was clean, cozy, and well organized, and it really felt like home away from home. The staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely caring, always making sure I felt comfortable. This was easily the best hostel I've stayed at. Highly recommend for a warm, memorable stay!

I wish I could have stayed longer in Matsumoto, and this hostel is one reason why. It’s cozy, with friendly hosts, and very conveniently placed near shops and restaurants. Matsumoto castle and a lovely shrine are close by too. They keep a guide to places to see, eat, and even onsens. One of the best hostels I stayed in on my recent Japan trip. Highly recommend.
