On my October 2025 bike tour, I stayed here for one night and would gladly have stayed longer. They understand what bike tourers need, with a dedicated storage room and some basic tools, including a floor pump. Few places on our route had space set aside for bikes. There was also a private Onsen that felt very authentic, plus basic facilities for making food.

After a long day hiking, we could relax in the private hotspring, and there was a machine to dry our shoes after we got completely soaked at kamikochi. The guesthouse is near the kamikochi park and the beautiful Bandokoro waterfall. The lovely host was such a sweet, helpful man, with lots of good recommendations. My partner and I had a blast here.

After a strenuous hike in the Alps, the private onsen was so soothing. The guesthouse also has a dining area and was very clean. Our host was friendly and incredibly helpful, and gave us great suggestions for places to visit, including the great maple tree, which was in full color during our stay.

The owner was so sweet and gave us loads of good tips. We had the best time here. The little onsen was very cute and lovely after a long hike. The rooms are Japanese style, with thin mattresses on the floor, but we still found them comfortable. I’d highly recommend it.

The onsen was the highlight, private and free for guests, and so relaxing. We stayed for two nights, and the owner was super kind, sharing useful information about nearby attractions. The room was cozy, and the amenities were surprisingly more complete than at a hotel. They even lend out bicycles for free!
