Best hotel in Matsusaka. I wouldn't recommend staying more than a night or two, though. The rooms are small, breakfast is the same every day, there's no foreign-language TV, and the temperature control in the room is poor. They chose a Sunday to replace the hallway carpet tiles, and I wasn't allowed back into my room. At first they said until 5 pm, but it ended up being after 8. Saying the stay was depressing almost doesn't cover it. In general, the young women working there were polite and efficient.

It's handy for a short trip to Matsusaka since it's not far from the train station. The reception staff are very polite and helpful.

For an affordable rate, this is a good Japanese-style hotel.
