The easiest part of this stay was checking out. The receipts we'd requested at check-in were already ready, so leaving was quick. The hotel itself was a relief to leave: the lobby smelled like a toilet, the bedroom walls were stained, and the carpet outside the breakfast room was incredibly dirty. The room was tiny and wasn't cleaned properly. The toilet and bath shared a cramped space, so I had to keep my toiletries in the bedroom and could barely avoid hitting the walls. I'm tall, not fat. The toilet paper holder looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, and the towel rail was placed so the towel would almost touch it. My first night's towel had two holes, and on the second day the cleaner left two hairs in the sink. Breakfast offered some variety, but nobody staying there seemed to find it tasty. The hot dishes were far too sweet. The only real plus was being close to the train station. This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in over the last 10-15 years, and it wasn't even cheap. I'm certain there are better places if you're considering a stay here.

The building and the room both felt quite old, and it didn't seem as clean as other business hotels in the same category. It has the standard unit bathroom.

I respect that every hotel sets its own customer service policies. Still, in today's heat I was walking around Hamamatsu, exhausted, and wanted to shower and rest for about four hours before continuing my trip. They wouldn't let me stay on my own for those four hours, even though I offered to pay the full amount through the following day and leave after four hours. Hotels should make their policies work better for tourists just passing through a city. A customer shouldn't be forced to stay until the next day if they don't want to. They might get more customers that way. That's my opinion. Everyone else can draw their own conclusions and is free to express their thoughts without rules limiting them.

The hotel is a reasonable place to stay near Hamamatsu station, about a five-minute walk away. I was lucky to get a room with views of ACT tower and the Station, and enjoyed watching the Shinkansen. There isn't a vegetarian breakfast option; otherwise, the hotel was so-so, okay.
