We paid 60,000 yen for a standard room for four, which felt like an attractive price. This is one of the best pet-friendly hotels we've stayed at. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are very clean, and the view from both the room and hotel is gorgeous. They also have an Onsen, and breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend it if you're staying with dogs.

A great place to stay with your dog.

This was my second stay, and it's a fantastic inn that really puts dogs first. The dog runs are plentiful, and you can wash your dog's paws at the entrance and dry them with the towels they provide. Last time, my room was next to that area. This time I had a 10-tatami Japanese-style room, so it was nice being able to sleep beside my dog. The cage was roomy enough even for a large dog. Several ladybugs had gotten in around the window. On our walk, we were lucky to see several deer. My dog's meal was game, and he ate it eagerly and seemed to love it. The video of him eating is from my previous visit. The food was tasty, and I enjoyed the open-air bath too, though the water level seemed a little low this time. One small request for the facility: disposable brushes in the powder room near the hot springs would help. I forgot mine in my room and ended up going back with wet hair.

They make it easy to bring your dog along to meals and everywhere else. Since other guests have dogs too, there's a friendly sense of understanding and helping each other out. There's a dog run nearby where your dog can play as much as they want. I was especially surprised by how clean the room was: no animal or urine smell, no signs of dogs, and not a single dog hair. You can tell they put a lot of care into cleaning. I was extremely satisfied. ✨ 🙆♀️ 🥺 (¯﹀¯)

After our first trip to Wakayama, this was our second visit to Wanpara. It's fairly close to home and gave us a great summer memory. The mountains were surprisingly near, and the nature was amazing. Everything was clean, and we had a wonderful time with our dog. We enjoyed the hot springs and food, and got to play in the river too. That brought out my inner kid again. The dog run was practically ours, and our dog loved sprinting around at full speed. My family was very happy and said we'll definitely come back.
