The hotel was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated. Its location is great, right by Dogo onsen and the shopping street. There’s no onsen at the hotel, which didn’t bother us. Parking was tricky. We couldn’t park at the hotel, and getting up the steep hill to park was hard. That was manageable for a one-night stay when we planned to explore on foot, but it would be a problem if we needed to drive back and forth.

The room and bed were nice, the staff lovely, and the internet connection solid. The location and price were great together. Parking costs 800 yen a day, and the microwave is on the smoking floor, but neither was enough to take a star off.

The location’s great, close to dogo onsen and the shopping streets. They provide yukata for going to the onsen. I’d happily recommend this hotel.

The rooms are older, but very clean and well maintained. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is right across from the historic Dogo Onsen, with the shopping streets alongside it.

I had a really enjoyable one-night stay, more than anywhere else I’ve been in Japan, and the value felt very high. The hotel is close to Dogo Onsen and the surrounding area, with a pleasant atmosphere inside and a nice view, even though it didn’t look out over Dogo Onsen itself. The room was larger than a typical business hotel room, checkout was at 11:00, and the staff were efficient and spoke English well. Breakfast was typical Japanese food, but the best tasting I’ve had. Dogo Onsen is a leisure area, so a certain amount of enjoyment is expected, but I still had a great time. Thank you to the staff.
