For the price, there are a lot of facilities, so I still think it’s worth staying here. The room is comfortable, though sharing the space makes it feel a little cramped, and there isn’t much room to move around on the bed. The shower room is small but fine for me. The toilet inside it is extremely loud and especially disturbing at night. At the entrance, self check-in is easy to use and available in several languages, including English, Korean, and Chinese. The dining area, kitchen, laundry space, and TV are right nearby. There are lockers and a toilet on the first floor, but that toilet was quite dirty. I understand staff can’t keep checking it all day, though users are careless. Seat-cleaner spray would make it feel more sanitary.

It’s a pretty nice place for the price, and you can message them about your booking ahead of time. If you’re sharing a room, the bathroom is only available from 6am to 11pm.

I booked a bed in the female-only dorm, but was given a mixed dorm bed instead. I was lucky nobody was there while I was naked in the room. Later, after I’d gone to bed, two men showed up, and one slept naked 😅. I checked again because I thought I might have booked the wrong room, but I had definitely selected the female-only dorm. I won’t stay here again.

We booked at the last minute and ended up with a great overnight stop. We arrived suuuuuppper late, and the host was so nice. The place was cosy and clean, and more than enough for a quick night on the way to Nishiyama.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and we got a good night’s sleep. The family room was a little tight for four adults, though, and fitting in the luggage took some acrobatics.
