Check-in isn't until 3pm, which felt a bit late, but I could leave my luggage and come back later. The hotel is very close to both the bus and train station, and there's a coin laundry machine too.

Only a 2-minute walk from the station. The room was clean and well maintained, and breakfast was nice too.

After staying in Kawaguchiko yesterday, we were in Kofu today, and the reception service was excellent again. The room was comfortable and spotless, right by Kofu station, with lots of restaurants nearby and things to do like Kofu Castle. Thanks to all the staff. I'm looking forward to our next stop and the next hotel in this chain, which knows how to make guests feel welcome with good reception service.

The Japanese breakfast buffet has plenty of variety, and being able to pack food to go was handy. Staff were friendly, and everything felt clean and efficient. Toyoko Inn is about a 5-minute walk from Kofu Station, with useful touches like a self-service amenities bar and pajama closet.

The room was clean, but very small, and there wasn't a closet. The bed was hard as a rock, and the pillow wasn't much better.
